These new VTT Stage 2+ upgrades are 100% BRAND NEW units! Every part including all housing, wheels, and internals are 100% new, not built from cores. Keep in mind new turbos do not require a core charge, so you do not have to go through the hassle of sending your cores in! If you want to you can for a $150 rebate.
Stage 2+ Hybrid upgrade: A complete hybrid from Compressor to Turbine using all new OEM spec internals. We take a brand new custom cast VTT compressor housing, bearing housing, and turbine housing manufactured to accept our custom TD04 Billet compressor Wheel and our proprietary Custom 9 blade TD04L turbine wheel with a full Garrett profile for full flow to redline. We were the FIRST to design, and use a Garret profile 9 blade TD04L turbine for the N54. Now everyone has copied it and uses them in some of their offerings. We then replace the factory waste gate arm and flapper valve with the 100% stainless steel version and include brand new OEM actuators.
TD04 upgraded thrust: Every set of stage 2+ turbos come with a performance TD04 upgraded thrust to extend the life of the turbochargers. The stock thrust system has shown to be prone to failure and upgraded thrust parts were created to remedy this. The upgraded thrust option consists of an Upgraded thrust bearing and a 30% increase in surface area on all complimenting thrust pieces.
VTT Billet compressor wheel option: Every set of VTT Stage 2+ upgrade comes with the amazing VTT Billet Compressor wheel option. These are fully forged billet wheels, utilizing the ultra-efficient 6×6 wheel design as well as “extended tip technology” to increase airflow to redline. This also helps the turbos work less hard to make the same power, as shown by our Shaft speed testing.
